Dr Mark Sackville-Ford
Head of School
Mark is the Head of School at Laurus Grace. He joined the Laurus Trust in 2020, with his substantive role involving the strategic leadership of SEND and Inclusion across the Trust.
During his time with Laurus, he has also served as Assistant Head of School at both Didsbury High School and Hazel Grove High School.

Prior to joining the Laurus Trust, Mark worked in higher education as a Senior Lecturer in Education, supporting and training future teachers. He has extensive experience across primary, secondary and higher education, with particular expertise in SEND, Inclusion and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
Mark is excited to lead Laurus Grace and help strengthen the specialist education offer in Stockport. He is passionate about providing every student with the very best education and opportunities, while building a school that students, staff and the wider community can be proud of.

Dr David Woolley
Executive Head
David is the Executive Head of Laurus Grace and Didsbury High School, with extensive experience of strategic leadership within the specialist provision and SEND sectors.
Prior to this role, he was the founding Head of Didsbury High School. David joined the Laurus Trust as Deputy Headteacher at Cheadle Hulme High School and is now a Specialist Leader of Education, supporting colleagues and schools across the region.

Having achieved Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) status in Mathematics in 2008, David has a strong track record of developing teaching and learning and supporting other educators. He completed a doctorate in education and now leads the Trust’s Research and Development programme.
Through this work, David co-founded the North West One Maths Hub, helping to improve the teaching of mathematics across Greater Manchester and beyond.

Mr Jack Warren
Assistant Head of School
Jack is the Assistant Head of School at Laurus Grace.
He began his teaching career as a science teacher at Hazel Grove High School in 2015 and continued in the role when the school joined the Laurus Trust in 2019.

Alongside teaching Science, he has contributed to curriculum development and supported students in progressing to ambitious post-16 and post-18 pathways.
Over the course of his career, Jack has held a number of leadership roles, including Director of Learning and Head of Altius House, where he supported students’ academic progress, leadership development and engagement with the Trust’s Four Cornerstones.
Jack is passionate about providing young people with the highest quality education and support. He is proud to be part of the leadership team at Laurus Grace and is committed to helping every student reach their potential and achieve success in the future of their choice.

Miss Chloe Stollery
Head of Pastoral Care
Chloe is the Head of Pastoral Care and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at Laurus Grace.
Chloe has worked as a specialist in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) for the Laurus Trust since September 2020.

Her role has involved providing strategic leadership of SEMH provision across the Trust’s mainstream schools, delivering training and implementing key initiatives to develop understanding and promote inclusive practice for students with SEMH needs.
Chloe is driven by her passion for working with young people. Prior to joining the Laurus Trust, she worked as a Communication and Interaction Specialist within a number of secondary and further education settings.
In November 2020, Chloe achieved her MEd in Psychology of Education from the University of Manchester, further developing her professional knowledge and lifelong understanding of autism.
